Health Minister of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov stated that it is planned to provide the access to the vaccines from coronavirus to everyone wishing until the end of 2021 as he reported during the briefing.
Stepanov noted that 6,800 people are vaccinated in Ukraine as of now. However, until the end of the week, it is planned to reach the rate of 10,000 vaccinated people per day.
“Our strategy – until the end of 2021, to provide the access to the vaccine for everyone wishing. Free of charge,” the minister added.
Meanwhile, Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko at the joint briefing with WHO Head in Ukraine Jarno Habicht and President of the European Council Charles Michel stated that until the end of 2021, the Health Ministry of Ukraine plans to vaccinate from Covid-19 80% of the population.
Meanwhile, the vaccination from Covid-19 has started in Ukraine on February 24. The first person to receive the vaccine was Yevhen Horenko, a resuscitator at the Cherkasy Regional Hospital. The vaccination is held all over Ukraine.
