The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed the bill #6470 of changing some of the legislative acts of Ukraine on foreign policy course. 276 MPs supported this decision. 112 Ukraine broadcasted the session.

'The priorities of the national interests of Ukraine are integration of Ukraine in the European and Euro-Atlantic political, economic and juridical space to become a member of EU and NATO; the development of the mutual relations with other states of the world for the interests of Ukraine', the bill provides this.

Earlier, only the integration of Ukraine to the European political, economic and juridical space was provided.

Pavlo Klimkin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine noted that he expects that the expanded partnership of Ukraine and NATO will lead to the membership in the Alliance.
