Agreement on free trade zone between Ukraine, Turkey ready by 99%

The agreement on launch of free trade zone between Ukraine and Turkey is ready by 99%, as Deputy Foreign Minister Vasyl Bondar said, Eurointegration reported.

“Talks which are being conducted between the experts will continue for some time, as the issues with concern tariffs on agricultural products and certain part of services remains uncoordinated. Obviously, we can not make concessions which would damage the national business. In this case, no need to wait for immediate political decisions, we should prepare to make our deal balanced and in compliance with our national interests, while comfortable for the Turkish party,” he said.

“99% of the agreement is ready. Some details which influence the figures remained,” he stressed.

As it was reported, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that the work on the creation of free trade zone between Ukraine and Turkey till the end of the year.
