Agrarians are protesting against the opening of the land market continues at the Verkhovna Rada. Farmers came to Verkhovna Rada despite the fact that MPs will not consider the land market this week. 112 Ukraine correspondent stated this.

Protesters demand to postpone the law providing for the sale of Ukrainian lands, to hold a referendum and adopt rules under which the state and local governments will have the right to buy shares.

“To the left of the protesters, we see that another rally is taking place. As is clear from the posters, these people are against the bill on hunting grounds. There are more than fifty of them. So far we do not hear slogans,” the correspondent said.

About 200 local farmers and land share owners block the international highway M-16 Odesa-Kuchurhan in the area of Kuchurhan customs point. A huge line of cars gathered in this direction. At least 20 tractors block the road.
