Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko is delivering his annual speech at the Ukrainian Parliament. It is planned to direct to the Constitutional Court the draft amendments to the Constitution, In particular, concerning the entrance to the European Union and NATO. In the afternoon, the deputies intend to renew to composition of the Central Election Commission.
This was stated in the agenda of the Verkhovna Rada published on the website of the parliament.
The plenary day will start from the address of the president who will speak of the interior and external situation of Ukraine.
After that, the deputies plan to vote for directing to the Constitutional Court the draft amendments to the Constitution concerning foreign policy.
The next draft is from the leader of the Radical Party Oleh Lyashko. He proposed to add to art.41 of the Constitution sentence “The basis of the agrarian structure of Ukraine is farming.”
Further is the works on drafts suspending parliamentarian immunity.
At 16:00 the deputies will consider the issue of renewal of the membership of the Central Election Commission.
The agenda includes the bill amending the state budget for this year. Later, the initiatives on renaming Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions.
It is also planned to appoint the judges of the Constitutional Court.
