Volodymyr Talashko, actor and lecturer at Kyiv National Ivan Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University was accused of sexual harassment after screenwriter and film critic Bohdan Pankrukhtin posted on his Facebook two stories of women who allegedly encountered the man’s unacceptable behavior. Later, a dozen more girls published similar stories on social networks.

"I was in Kyiv for the first time, I didn't understand where I was, I didn't have a mobile phone, I only had a ticket home for the evening. Thinking this, I didn't understand how we ended up in the bedroom, I was already in bed, and he was kissing me," Yulia Birzul wrote.

"He started to kiss me. It was the last straw. I started to break away, said that I needed to leave urgently, as the dormitory was closing soon. He tried to calm me down, offered to use the next room so that I would not leave late," Viktoria Mushtey says.

In both situations, the girls managed to avoid the most unpleasant events, but such an experience also traumatizes the youthful psyche. "This will continue as long as everyone is silent," the author of the post emphasizes and urges not to ignore the negative experience, believing that your word against the word of "master" will not matter.

"Adhering to the principle of objectivity and taking into account the lack of facts, the University does not have the objective opportunity to provide official comments on the information disseminated," the statement said.
