A number of non-governmental organizations addressed the head of the National Police of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko over the fact of illegal construction carried out by the notorious prosecutor Kostiantyn Kulyk in one of the most elite housing complexes of Kyiv Diplomat Hall. The head of International Anti-criminal Alliance NGO Bohdan Vorontsov said this during the rally at the building of Interior Ministry on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“Today. Our organization appeals to the head of the National Police Klymenko. We know that criminal proceedings on the construction of the illegal additional structure have already been opened. We want to emphasize the importance of this issue and also appeal that we support the demolition of this illegal construction,” he said.
“I would like to remind you that two weeks ago our public organization held a protest under the walls of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine to not let the scandalous prosecutor Mr. Kulyk work in the new Prosecutor General’s Office. One reason was that a corrupt officer could not fight corruption. I want to explain that this additional structure in an elite residential complex - it is an entire floor, where Mr. Kulyk already has two apartments with a total area of 400 square meters. It is already more then a million dollars. However, it was not enough for him, so he built another floor illegally, playing an architect and builder. Therefore, we ask that this criminal case be resolved and that the building, if it has no documents, be demolished and dismantled,” Vorontsov added.
Earlier it was reported that 60 MPs, including representatives of the Servant of the People Party, Voice and Batkivshchyna Party, signed a collective demand to remove Kostiantyn Kulyk. The signatures for his removal from the office are collected on the official website of the President of Ukraine.
