An action to support Ukrainians who were arrested by Russian military forces took place in the capital of Latvia, Riga, as Liberty Radio informs.
One of the activists reported that the demonstration was near the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Latvian capital. Besides, the posters of Ukrainian political prisoners and fugitives of Hizb ut-Tahrir Islamic organization can be mentioned on the published photos.
Hizb ut-Tahrir is an international, Islamist political organization, which urges all Muslim countries into the Caliphat, however, the organization denies terrorist methods to combat. Russia admitted Hizb ut-Tahrir as the terroristic group in 2003 and its activities is forbidden on the territory of the country. Within Ukrainian legislation it is the legal organization.
As it was reported earlier, Ukraine had demanded Russia released Ukrainian political prisoners Stanislav Aseev.
