According to him, the water supply was also lost.

"The whole city is without light … by all indications – a serious accident at the TPP itself. It may even be with the stop of the unit. Mobile communication is congested, there is no water – the pumps have stopped,” the deputy wrote.

As we reported earlier, on January 9, the explosion resulted from depressurization that took place at the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipeline in Lubny, Poltava region. The explosion took place near the village of Kalaidyntsi at around 16:00.

It was noted that 2,860 households, 4 village councils and 7 budgetary institutions remain without gas. Later, a gradual restoration of gas supply to settlements began in the Poltava region, after the explosion on the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipeline.

The police opened the criminal proceeding due to the damage to the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipeline.
