In Energodar, Zaporizhya region, where 50,000 people reside, a serious accident occurred at a thermal power plant, as a result of which the city was left without electricity. Deputy of the local city council Anatoly Anokhin reported that on his Facebook page.
According to him, the water supply was also lost.
"The whole city is without light … by all indications – a serious accident at the TPP itself. It may even be with the stop of the unit. Mobile communication is congested, there is no water – the pumps have stopped,” the deputy wrote.
As we reported earlier, on January 9, the explosion resulted from depressurization that took place at the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipeline in Lubny, Poltava region. The explosion took place near the village of Kalaidyntsi at around 16:00.
It was noted that 2,860 households, 4 village councils and 7 budgetary institutions remain without gas. Later, a gradual restoration of gas supply to settlements began in the Poltava region, after the explosion on the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipeline.
The police opened the criminal proceeding due to the damage to the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipeline.
