As for March 5, about ten people in Ukraine are tested for the presence of coronavirus, as 112 Ukraine reported citing Deputy Healthcare Minister and Chief Sanitary Inspector of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko.
“Additionally, about ten samples are analyzed in the laboratory; according to the clinical symptoms, they may have suspicion on coronavirus infection. But we will not talk about the diagnosis until we have clear confirmation from the laboratory,” Lyashko noted.
According to him, the laboratories in Ukraine are certified and they work with certified tests.
As of Wednesday, March 4, one case of Covid-19 coronavirus was recorded in Ukraine, six more people are suspected and now they are waiting for the results of the tests.
As we reported earlier, yesterday, on March 3, Ukraine confirmed the case of COVID-19 or coronavirus. The case was spotted in the Chernivtsi region. A man returned to Ukraine from Italy and entered Ukraine through the border with Romania.
