841 people get Ukrainian citizenship in 2019

Since the beginning of 2019, President granted Ukrainian citizenship to 841 people, as the press office of State migration service reported to 112.ua request.

“971 people received Ukrainian citizenship in 2017, 983 people – in 2018, 841 – as of early August of 2019 according to the presidential decree,” the press office informed.

At the same time, under the agreements on the facilitated process of change of citizenship, 73 people got a Ukrainian passport in 2017, 70 people – in 2018, and 41 – in 2019.

9 people regained their citizenship in 2017, 8 – in 2018, 5 – since the beginning of 2019.

As it was reported, in his inaugural speech Zelensky said he was ready to give Ukrainian citizenship to all those who indent to return to Ukraine and work for the benefit of the country.
