727 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Ukraine during the past 24 hours. Particularly, 20 patients died as the Health Ministry of Ukraine reported.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,276,590 cases of Covid-19 were registered in Ukraine. 2,202,160 people (+382 in 24 hours) recovered and were discharged; while 53,521 (+2720 patients died from the complications caused by the infection.

During the past 24 hours, the majority of the confirmed cases were registered in Kyiv city (109), Odesa (62), Zaporizhia (62), Ternopil (57) and Chernivtsi (55) regions.

As we reported, Healthcare Minister Viktor Lyashko stated that a surge in Covid-19 incidence in winter.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization is not recommending a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine. This was announced by Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko.
