705 citizens of Ukraine have flown out of Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt to home. Vasyl Kyrylych, the Head of Department of Consular Support reported this on Twitter.
'705 Ukrainian have flown out of Sharm el-Sheikh to Ukraine by four flights. We specify whether there are people who have not registered and expect the return to home. The situation is under control of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry', Kyrylych wrote.
On April 28 it was reported that more than 200 Ukrainian tourists cannot fly out of Sharm el-Sheikh for more than a day. In the evening, one plane took a group of tourists to Lviv, another one - to Kyiv. Later it was reported that in Sharm el-Sheikh there is still a part of Ukrainians who cannot fly home.
Sviatoslav Tseholko, the spokesperson of the Ukrainian president noted on Facebook that Petro Poroshenko ordered to accommodate the Ukrainian in the Egyptian hotels for free and smooth out the flights' schedule of the tour operators from Egypt.
Also, it was reported that it is planned to transfer Ukrainians, who stay in Egypt's Sharm el-Sheikh airport and cannot fly home, to Ukraine on April 30.
Moreover, Pavlo Klimkin, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine noted that the tour operators should draw an inference from this story. He added that the diplomats work round the clock to help the Ukrainian citizens to return home.
