State Bureau of Investigation head released fragment video of ballistic examination of defective body armor

Ballistic examination showed that 70% of bulletproof vests, which were purchased by the Department of Material Support of the Ministry of Defense, were shot through. Roman Truba, State Bureau of Investigation head, reports it.

“The soldier has got six shots and already realized that we are [email protected]#%les. “These words belong to Major General notified on suspicion by the State Investigation Bureau. He knew that body armor contained untreated plates that did not meet specifications. He knew that some parts of the bulletproof vests, which did not pass ballistic tests, and part of them had no appropriate laboratory test protocols,” Truba noted.

The head of the department of material support of the Ministry of Defense knew about the shortcomings of body armor but did not give a command to remove them.

As we reported earlier, holding in custody or $3,000,000 bail - such preventative measures were chosen for the Major-General of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, suspected of the criminal proceeding relating to the acquisition of defective armored vests for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
