On April 16, a man's death was recorded in Lviv region, after being vaccinated with coronavirus vaccine AstraZeneca / Covishield. This was announced by the chairman of the Regional State Administration Maksym Kozytsky on his Facebook page.
"A 63-year-old man died today. According to the Department of Health of Lviv Regional State Administration, on April 15, 2021, the man was vaccinated against Covid-19 with the AstraZeneca / Covishield vaccine," he said.
According to him, the man's death was registered as an adverse event following immunization, as he died within 30 days after vaccination against coronavirus.
This case is currently being considered by the regional group for rapid response to adverse events following immunization / tuberculin diagnostics of the Department of Health of Lviv Regional State Administration.
Kozytsky stressed that vaccination against Covid-19 does not prevent the development of other diseases or death from other causes.
As we reported earlier, on Wednesday, March 24, a man who had previously been vaccinated against coronavirus died in Chernivtsi. According to preliminary data, the cause of death was an acute cerebral stroke.
