Police opened criminal case

The unknown illegally unloaded Lviv garbage in the field near the Borispol – Baryshevka highway in Kyiv region. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv regional police.  

"The investigative group of the Boryspil police department arrived at the scene and identified more than 60 tons of garbage. During the inspection of the site, police found documentation from various establishments of Lviv city, "the report said.

Now the search measures are carried out with the purpose of identifying of the people involved in illegal transportation of wastes.

Criminal proceedings were opened under Part 1 of Article 239 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (pollution or damage to lands).

Earlier it was reported that Chinese company plans to build disposal plant in Lviv region. The plant with a capacity of 320 tons per day will be built in Chervonograd.
