Health Minister Maksym Stepanov stated that the ministry plans to vaccinate against coronavirus at least 60% of adults in Ukraine until the end of 2021 as Ukraine 24 reported.
“Until the end of the year we should vaccinate at least 60% of adults at the age over 18. If we have sufficient number of vaccines; the countries will stop to disappoint us, or, fulfill contracts – the world has never faced when the countries block the supplies of the vaccines, despite all signed contracts,” the minister said.
According to him, with the presence of a sufficient number of the vaccines, the Health Ministry will be able to vaccinate 5 million citizens monthly.
11,500 vaccination rooms work in Ukraine today.
As we reported, 1.7 million doses of vaccine against coronavirus are supposed to be delivered in Ukraine by late May.
Earlier, Maksym Stepanov stated that Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry is now in the final stage of development of vaccination passports for citizens.
