1,204 patients with coronavirus were found in Kyiv on November 8; 53 people died, mayor of the city Vitaly Klitschko reports on Facebook.

"+1204 confirmed cases of coronavirus. + 53 fatalities from the virus," Klitschko writes.

Most cases of the disease were found in the following districts: Obolonsky (337), Darnytsky (152) and Solomyansky (118).

158 patients with coronavirus were hospitalized in Kyiv on November 8, and 444 people with suspicion of Covid-19 and pneumonia were hospitalized.

865 people recovered over the past day.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Kyiv, 6,604 people have died from coronavirus. 235,176 residents of the capital recovered from the virus.

As it was reported, on November 8, 19,988 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Ukraine during the past 24 hours. 833 deaths from coronavirus were registered, which is a record number of deaths per day.

As of November 9, 17 regions are in the red zone, and two regions are in the yellow zone in Ukraine. Today, the Zakarpattia region has moved from the yellow to the orange zone.
