Electoral documentation from the problematic constituency №50 in Pokrovsk (Donetsk region) will be taken by the aviation of Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
“Yesterday, on August 2, the Central Election Commission discovered inaction of the district election commission of single-mandate constituency №50. In order to prevent possible provocations and unlawful actions, it was decided to transfer the election documentation from the problematic constituency with the help of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' aviation,” the statement said.
It is also noted that the police would protect documents.
CEC Deputy Chairman Yevhen Radchenko noted that August 5 was the deadline for establishing the election results. Help of Interior Ministry makes it possible to promptly close the issue with the counting of votes.
As it was reported earlier, Central Election Commission recognized 136 MPs elected.
The Central Election Commission of Ukraine has processed 100 percent of digital protocols it had received after the parliamentary election took place.
