50 majoritarian MPs, Kharkiv, Odesa and other mayors to unite into one political force

Trukhanv’s party “Trust actions” and “Revival”, the half of the party “Our Land” and MPs from the “Will of the People" group are united in a single political force to participate in parliamentary elections. The by co-chairman of the Verkhovna Rada MPs group “Revival" Vitaliy Khomutynnik stated this, as Interfax-Ukraine reported.

“Currently there are two parties - "Trust business"  and "Revival". There is "Our land", but not the whole party, but most of the authoritative leaders like MPs Anton Kisse, Serhiy Shakhov, local MPs, as well the part of the MPs of the “Will of the people” group, and just self-nominated persons joined the force,” said.

The co-chairman of the "Revival" noted that the session of the united political force would be held by the end of May.

According to the politician, no decision who will lead the political force has been taken yet, but it is clear that the mayor of Odesa Hennady Trukhanov and mayor of Kharkiv Hennady Kernes will be included to the first five MPs in the list of the party in the parliamentary elections.

"We already have more than 50 majoritarian people who will go as majoritarian parties from the party," he said.

At the same time, Khomutynnik noted that the MPs, who were elected to the current convocation of the parliament in majoritarian districts, intend to be elected to parliament as majoritarian MPs as well at the next election.

"We already have more than 50 majoritarian MPs who will go as majoritarian MPs from the party," he said.

The MP added that according to lists of the party, the mayors, heads of regional councils, authoritative people in the regions and cities would run for the election.

“We make an open appeal to everybody, not necessarily to MPs, but to all regional elites and leaders of local self-government, mayors of cities, heads of regional councils, MPs of other levels, in order to unite and to participate in the parliamentary elections, which apparently will be held beforehand,” he stated.

“There are confirmation and agreement concerning the mayors of two big cities Kernes and Trukhanov, about 15-20 mayors of cities with 50-100 thousand people and more - Uzhhorod, Artemivsk, Kupyansk, Voznesensk, and others," Khomutynnik added.

 Earlier, Kharkiv Mayor Hennady Kernes and Odesa Mayor Hennady Trukhanov agreed to create a “party of mayors”.
