1,665 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 178 patients deceased, and 2,050 recovered. 62,750 tests have been taken.
Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Dnipropetrovsk (438), Kharkiv (371), Lviv (344), Donetsk (334) and Kyiv (303) regions.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,179,988 people have contracted the disease, 1,941,625 have overcome it, 49,279 - have succumbed to it.
Meanwhile, the real number of deaths from coronavirus in the world may be several times higher than official statistics.
Presenting its annual World Health Statistics report, the WHO estimated that total deaths from the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 were at least 3 million or 1.2 million more than 1.8 million figure officially reported.
"So I think safely about 6 to 8 million deaths could be an estimate on a cautionary note," Samira Asma, WHO's Assistant Director-General in its data and analytics division said.
