In Ukraine, 4,182 cases of coronavirus infection were observed in 24 hours. 4,351 patients recovered, as Health Minister Maksym Stepanov reported on Facebook.

Since the beginning of the pandemic 1,311,844 people got infected; 25,309 died (+153 in 24 hours); 1,151,777 recovered (+4,351).

The majority of the cases were observed in Ivano-Frankivsk (716), Vinnytsia (243), Zakarpattia (224), Chernivtsi (468) regions, and in Kyiv (454).

The situation in the regions is the next:

Kyiv – 454 cases; Vinnytsia region – 243; Volyn region – 128; Dnipropetrovsk region – 126 cases; Donetsk region – 58 cases; Zhytomyr region – 67 cases; Zakarpattia region – 159 cases; Ivano-Frankivsk region – 716 cases; Kyiv region – 196 cases; Kyrovohrad region – 19 cases; Luhansk region – 47 cases; Lviv region – 197 cases; Mykolaiv region – 92 cases; Odesa region – 159 cases; Poltava region – 113 cases; Rivne region – 107 cases; Sumy region – 42 cases; Ternopil region – 107 cases; Kharkiv region – 188 cases; Kherson region – eight cases; Khmelnytsk region – 118 cases; Cherkasy region – 140 cases; Chernivtsi region – 468 cases; Chernihiv region – six cases.

From February 24, the adaptive quarantine will return in Ukraine. The ‘yellow’ zone will act as standard; in case of the deterioration of the situation, the zone will be changed to ‘orange’ according to the proper decision of the regional commissions.

The ‘red’ zone will be introduced in case of heavy load on the health care system, in fact, the same restrictions as during lockdown in January.

The ‘green’ zone provides abolition of the restrictions and returns to normal life before the quarantine.
