40 inhabited settlements are de-energized in Ukraine due to bad weather as of 7 a.m. in connection with activation of power lines protection systems. It was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Facebook.

In particular, 12 settlements in Zakarpattia Oblast, 17 in Lviv, 9 in Volyn, and 2 in Kirovograd.

12 settlements in Lviv are completely disconnected from the power, and 5 partly. This was reported in a commentary to "112 Ukraine" TV channel by the State Emergency Service in the Lviv region, Ihor Kurus.
