Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko informed that 380 people have been given notice of suspicion in the cases related to the Euromaidan, as he said today in a briefing.

“I think, this year was the most effective out of all years of the investigation. First of all, due to the actions of all law enforcement bodies. As of today, 380 people were informed on suspicion in physical actions, including murders of peaceful protesters. Out of them, cases of 270 people are in court, and 49 have already received sentences,” he said.

Lutsenko also said that the investigation of who gave the order to start shooting has finished.

“This case was also submitted to the Pechersk court, and I hope that by the end of this year, maybe a little later, we will receive the decision of the court on the possibility of a pre-trial investigation in abstentia (of the perpetrators, - 112), and then the beginning of the new suit against Yanukovych, Zakharchenko, Yakymenko, Totsky, who, under our suspicion, gave the order to shoot at peaceful people,” he noted.
