38 Ukrainian MPs haven’t attended a single parliament session in January

Most of them are on a continued unofficial vacation

In January, 330 MPs of the Verkhovna Rada have missed more than a half of votes as the press service of the Committee of Ukraine’s voters informed. 

According to the statistics published by the committee, each MP has attended 29% of the votes on average, while 38 MPs (including Yulia Tymoshenko) missed all of them.

Oleksiy Koshel, Head of the Committee of Ukraine’s voters, says that the MPs who haven’t attended must have prolonged their vacation informally. The committee managed to establish that 60% of the 38 who didn’t vote weren’t inside the Parliament building at the time.

He also said that the statistics of the MPs’ participation in votes was much worse in January than in the previous months. In December, 12 MPs missed all of the votes, In October - 10, in September - 11,

In January, the Parliament held 6 plenary meetings, and there were 309 votes in them.
