30,000 law enforcers will protect public order in Ukraine on National Flag and Independence Day, as Arsen Avakov, Ukraine’s Internal Minister, stated, 112 Ukraine reports.

“We have more than 30,000 (officers,- ed.) of the National Guard, police and SBU throughout the country,” he explained.

Earlier, it was reported that since August 22, Ukraine’s Internal Ministry switches to heavy security regime due to the coming celebrations. Around a thousand events dedicated to the National Flag Day and Independence Day will take place in Ukraine with 700,000 participants, as expected.

Moreover, the security of the state border and demarcation line in Joint Forces Operation in Donbas will be enhanced.

Earlier it was reported that 4,500 soldiers and 250 units of equipment will participate in the military parade in Kyiv dedicated to the 27th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence.
