29 countries already have confirmed participation in the summit of the Crimean Platform, which will take place on August 23. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at the Ukraine 30 forum.

"The first summit of the Crimean Platform will take place on August 23. This is an initiative of Ukraine, supported by dozens of our international partners. We are returning Crimea to the world agenda to bring it home. It is Turkey, the Baltic States, France, Germany, others, others, many EU countries, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and a total of 29 countries for today," Zelensky said.

Zelensky noted that on August 23 the countries will sign a joint declaration on "joint agreements and common intentions."

It was reported earlier that the Crimean Platform was initiated as an international coordination mechanism to return the issue of Crimea to the agenda, protect human rights in Crimea and promote the de-occupation of the peninsula.
