A body of a 23-year-old citizen of Kyiv was found with the gunshot wounds in the Range Rover car in Gorenychy village, Kyiv region at night on June 4 as the press service of the National Police in Kyiv region reported.
The body was sent to the morgue for the holding of the forensic examination.
The investigation-operative group of the Kyiv-Svyatoshyn department of the police, crime lab and dog handlers worked at the site.
The witnesses and the circumstances of the crime were under the establishment.
Later Ukrayinska Pravda reported citing the sources that Oleksandr Lyshchenko, the crime lord, the vice-president of the Kyiv Boxing Federation, who was in the car found in Gorenychy village.
According to the title, Lyshchenko succeeded to leave the car during the attack. It is established that he returned to home after the visit of his friend Roman who lives in Gorenychy village (the search takes place in his house).
At the moment of the attack, a 23 years old driver Maksym Kovtunenko was in the car beside Lyshchenko. In the result of the attack, a driver was killed and Lyshchenko escaped to the afforestation.
The correspondent of 112 Ukraine said that there are 18 bullet holes in the car and two machine guns from which the attackers shot were found.
Oleksandr Lyshchenko owns two markets in Kyiv. According to the mass media, a lot of people know him as the criminal lord 'Licha'.
For a very long time, Lyshchenko was connected to the biggest spontaneous market in Kyiv set right at the roadway. The workers of the utility services were beaten up there and the entrepreneurs were intimidated.
The mass media also reported on the involvement of Lyshchenko with the taking of government-paid forces (Titushky) to Maidan in 2014.
