2,137 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Ukraine in 24 hours. Particularly, 91 children and 56 medics got infected as Healthcare Minister Maksym Stepanov reported on Facebook.

During the past day, 579 people were hospitalized; 163 lethal cases reported, and 12,085 people recovered. 51,964 tests were held.

Since the beginning of the pandemic: 2,204,631 people got infected; 2,053,167 patients recovered; 50,699 lethal cases reported; 10,207,245 PCR tests were held.

During the past 24 hours, the majority of the cases were registered in Kyiv city (434), Zaporizhia (176), Kyiv (138), Dnipropetrovsk (137), and Rivne (117) regions.

Kyiv – 434 cases; Vinnytsia region – 29; Volyn region – 53; Dnipropetrovsk region – 137 cases; Donetsk region – 88 cases; Zhytomyr region – 31 cases; Zakarpattia region – 15 cases; Zaporizhia region – 176 cases; Ivano-Frankivsk region – 33 cases; Kyiv region – 138 cases; Kyrovohrad region – 13 cases; Luhansk region – 57 cases; Lviv region – 111  cases; Mykolaiv region – 72 cases; Odesa region – 66 cases; Poltava region – 115 cases; Rivne region – 117 cases; Sumy region – 35 cases; Ternopil region – 32 cases; Kharkiv region – 84 cases; Kherson region – 23 cases; Khmelnytsky region – 44 cases; Cherkasy region – 89 cases; Chernivtsi region – 61 cases; Chernihiv region – 84 cases.

As we reported, teachers and education staff will be vaccinated in Kyiv this week. For this purpose, 10 vaccination centers have been prepared in each district of the city.
