About 2100 applicants from the occupied Donbas filed documents to Ukrainian universities, according to the data of Inforesource state enterprise, which counted the applications, the company's head Oksana Belik said at a briefing.

She noted that there numbers are not final because the reception of documents is ongoing.

Applicants from Donetsk and Luhansk occupied territories submitted documents through "Donbas-Ukraine" educational centers.

In addition, 235 enrollees from the occupied Crimea submitted documents to Ukrainian universities.

Belik stressed that this is not the final figures, because the filing of documents is still ongoing.

As it was reported earlier Ukraine and Montenegro to cooperate in education and science. Ukrainian Parliament ratified agreement, with 230 MPs voting for the decision.
