17,569 new Covid-19 cases reported in Ukraine in 24 hours

During the past 24 hours, on March 31, 17,569 new cases of infection with coronavirus were observed in Ukraine as Health Minister Maksym Stepanov reported on Facebook.

Particularly, 813 children and 486 medics got infected.

Thus, in 24 hours: 5,160 people were hospitalized; 421 lethal cases reported; 9,602 patients recovered; 132,759 tests were held.

Since the beginning of the pandemic: 1,691,737 people got infected; 1,323,083 patients recovered; 33,246 lethal cases reported; 8,905,179 PCR tests were held.

Kyiv – 1,150 cases; Vinnytsia region – 849; Volyn region – 490; Dnipropetrovsk region – 974 cases; Donetsk region – 484 cases; Zhytomyr region – 1,037 cases; Zakarpattia region – 651 cases; Zaporizhia region – 627 cases; Ivano-Frankivsk region – 458 cases; Kyiv region – 962 cases; Kyrovohrad region – 203 cases; Luhansk region – 232 cases; Lviv region – 1,141 cases; Mykolaiv region – 327 cases; Odesa region – 1,305 cases; Poltava region – 812 cases; Rivne region – 665 cases; Sumy region – 773 cases; Ternopil region – 741 cases; Kharkiv region – 620 cases; Kherson region – 269 cases; Khmelnytsk region – 1,142 cases; Cherkasy region – 605 cases; Chernivtsi region – 442 cases; Chernihiv region – 610 cases.

As we reported earlier, Maksym Stepanov stated that the ministry plans to vaccinate against coronavirus at least 60% of adults in Ukraine until the end of 2021.
