For today, around 170,000 internally displaced persons from the occupied Donbas and Crimea are registered in the capital of Ukraine. This was stated by the press service of Kyiv state city administration.
“Today, around 170,000 of internally displaced persons are registered in the capital - this is the largest number among all the cities of the country. Among them 77,800 people receive facilities and 19,000 have pensions,” administration official said.
He assured that authorities will continue to support displaced persons, including the housing issue.
As it was reported earlier 1,6 million IDPs are registered in Ukraine, according to Ministry of Social Policy. Over $18 thousand were paid to the recipients of financial assistance in March.
