17 illegal migrants from Asia detained in Odesa

It is being decided on whether to expel the delinquents to the motherland

Police detained 17 illegal migrants in Odesa, as Odesa Police Communication Department reported.

“17 illegal migrants were revealed and prosecuted during the complex operational and prevention operation on the territory of marketplaces within the special operation “Migrant”,” the message says.

Six people came from Vietnam, five form Uzbekistan, four – from China and two – from Azerbaijan.

The officers of State Migration Service drew up protocols under the article on “foreigners and people without citizenship violating the regulations of staying in Ukraine and travel in transit through the territory of Ukraine” of Ukraine’s Code of Administrative Violations.

Earlier, State Migration Service warned that the number of illegal migrants might increase in Ukraine.
