A high level of hospitalizations is observed in Ukraine due to the coronavirus. During the past week, the peak load on the emergency first aid is observed – the medics perform 17-19,000 rides daily as Deputy Health Minister of Ukraine Iryna Mykychak reported.

“We, during the last week, had peak load on the emergency first aid. We have a high level of hospitalization. If we talk about emergency aid – averagely they perform 17-19,000 rides daily during the past week,” Mykychak said.

According to the deputy minister, the decrease of the load on the emergency system in some regions – particularly, the issue is about Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions, according to an incidence rate of these regions.

Meanwhile, a high rate of rides of the emergency first aid is observed in Zaporizhia, Odesa and Kharkiv regions.

As we reported, Ukrainians will be able to receive the first injection with the Chinese CoronaVac on Tuesday, April 13. CoronaVac will be provided to people with limited mobility (people with disabilities) who cannot come to the vaccination center and their guardians. Also, the vaccine can be received by the Olympians and Paralympians who will go to the competitions this year.
