16 vessels illegally enter Crimea in September

Sixteen tankers and cargo ships entered the ports of the occupied Crimea during September 2018 with violations. This was reported in the Ministry for Temporary Occupied Territories and IDPs.

15 vessels were under the flag of the Russian Federation and one - under the flag of the Republic of Togo. In total, these ships entered the ports of Feodosia, Sevastopol and Kerch 47 times in total.

"In addition, 13 vessels were spotted on the roads in water areas of the ports of Sevastopol, Feodosia and Kerch. The ports were used for mooring, 10 vessels were under the flags of the Russian Federation and one under the flags of Turkey, one – from Moldova and one – from the Republic of Panama," the ministry reported.

Earlier, the ministry reported that 16 ships entered the ports of the annexed Crimea in violation of Ukrainian legislation in August, and 19 ships - in July.
