150 km of Ukraine-Hungary border is currently in private property, and is just plots of land, Chief Military Prosecutor Anatolii Matios told 112.UA.
According to him, the Ukrainian border guards are denied full access to 150 km of the border, as it is in private property. The council of the village gave two hectares of land to locals, and over time the land was accumulated in the hands of a single person.
Now they have their own security at the border, and deny access to the Ukrainian border guards.
Anatolii Matios is to report the situation to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
“I insist, the Prosecutor General gave me the task, and I will report this situation to him tomorrow. I believe it can’t be like that, and it can’t continue,” he summed up.
