Fifteen members of the crew of the Free Neptune ship returned to Ukraine from Oman. This was reported by the Marine Transport Workers Trade Union of Ukraine (MTWTU) on Facebook.

"15 members of the Free Neptune crew who have been in the Sultanate of Oman on board of this ship since summer of 2016 because of delays in wages payment by the ship-owner, returned to Ukraine today," the message says.

It is noted that all marines have been assisted by ITF (International Transport Workers' Federation), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (in particular, the Consulate of Ukraine in Saudi Arabia), as well as the flag administration of Liberia and the local agent.

The Naval Forces of Ukraine state the tense situation in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov.
