As of August 12, 84,548 Covid-19 cases registered in Ukraine. During the past 24 hours, 1,433 new cases were observed, as the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reported.
Totally, 45,686 (+752 in 24 hours) people recovered; another 1,970 (+19 in hours) died from the complications caused by the Covid-19.
The majority of the cases were observed in Kyiv – 181 cases, Lviv region – 166 cases, Kharkiv region – 139 cases.
As we reported, the Health Ministry of Ukraine predicted the second wave of coronavirus to occur in October or November along with the epidemic of flu.
On August 11, President of Russia Vladimir Putin reported that the first vaccine against coronavirus was registered in Russia.
