Ukraine will exercise special control over 137 types of raw materials and minerals, which have been determined by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. This was announced by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov at a briefing following a meeting in Kyiv on Friday, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"137 types of raw materials, minerals, which will be under the special control of our state, have been identified. These licenses will be issued more carefully by other procedures, because we see what is happening," Danilov said.
According to him, not a single kilogram of copper is mined in Ukraine if companies have licenses for its extraction. This decision should establish control over the situation.
Earlier, at the meeting of the National Security and Defense Council sanctions were imposed against 15 individuals and 53 legal entities. The Cabinet of Ministers and the Security Service of Ukraine proposed to add them to the sanctions list.
