In January, the Crimean human rights group spotted 13 new criminal cases toward the citizens of Crimea due to the evading military service at the Armed Forces of Russia and 13 new sentences delivered on this article as the group reported on Facebook.
Two of sentences were delivered at Kirov district court, five at Lenin district court of Sevastopol; one at Gagarin district court of Simferopol, Bakhchysarai district court, Central court of Simferopol, Krasnoperekopsk district court, Sovetsky district court and Nyzhnyohirsk district court.
“It is the largest number of sentences spotted on this article in a month during the whole time of occupation,” the message said.
It is noted that at the end of January, the human rights group spotted 176 cases for evading military service at the Armed Forces of Russia that were passed to the so-called ‘courts’ of Crimea. 168 of them were considered; eight of them are being considered.
Earlier, Ukraine accused Russian authorities in the restriction of access to drugs for Crimean citizens. It is noted that Russian military and FSB officers deprive people of medicines at a checkpoint.
