13 searches take place within the case of murder of Kherson Mayor’s advisor Kateryna Handziuk as Spokesperson of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (GPU) Andriy Lysenko reported on Facebook.
According to him, after the general meeting in the GPU with the participation of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the National Police, the Prosecutor General signed the special order on the holding of the urgent investigative actions.
“Totally, the group of the investigators in Kherson and Kherson region holds 13 searches according to the order of the investigating judge. The investigative actions take place within the criminal proceedings on the causing bodily harm to Kateryna Handziuk; the cases on the overpass, airport, burning of the forest, illegal allocation of the land plots,” Andriy Lysenko noted.
On November 4, 2018, it became known that Kateryna Handziuk died at the age of 34. She was doused with sulphuric acid in July this year. According to preliminary information, her death was caused by blood clot's detachment.
Besides, the doctors specified the cause of death; it was due to multiple organ failure and chemical burns.
