Constitution of Ukraine provides for three cases when Verkhovna Rada might be dismissed.
Article No. 30 reads that the President can terminate Parliament’s mandate if:
- coalition is not formed within one month;
- government’s personnel is not formed within 60 days after Cabinet of Ministers resigned;
- plenary meetings do not start within 30 days of one session.
President decides on early termination of the mandate of Verkhovna Rada after consultations with the Head of the Parliament, his deputies and chairmen of factions.
President can not do that within six last months of Parliament’s mandate.
If Parliament is early disbanded, President appoints early elections within 60 days after the decision on dismissal is published.
