The police says that over a dozen people were wounded in the morning confrontation between the law enforcers and the protesters near the building of the Ukrainian Parliament, according to the Kyiv Police press service.

It has been established that eleven police officers and two civilians were injured.

As it was reported earlier, around 6 am police tried to raid the protesters’ camp in search of Saakashvili, and clashes with the protesters occurred. Later on, Mikheil Saakashvili was spotted in the camp. He said he was there during the night and that the police didn't succeed in seizing him.

The scandalous Georgian politician faces charges of aiding a criminal group. Yesterday the police tried to detain him, but a mob of people got him out of the police car and helped him get away. Now he is on the wanted list. You can read the details of yesterday’s events here
