The EU is ready to support and help Ukraine, as Donald Tusk, the Head of the European Council, said during the Verkhovna Rada session dedicated to the fifth anniversary of Russia’s aggression in Ukraine. 112 Ukraine broadcasted the event.
“I can repeat not only from myself, but also on the behalf of all the EU – we are with you and we are ready to help you,” Tusk assured.
He cited that agreement on association – EU admits the European aspirations of Ukraine and welcomes its European choice.
“I would like to repeat that Europe will never recognize Russian annexation of Crimea and will not refuse from sanctions until Russia fulfills its obligations. Besides, the EU will never put up with aggressive acts in Azov Sea. I will do everything to make the EU stay united,” Tusk said.
Donald Tusk arrived in Ukraine to participate in the ceremonial events dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity and Russia aggression in Ukraine.
He delivered a speech in Ukraine’s Parliament in Ukrainian.
