US Army will deploy another 1,000 soldiers to NATO’s Eastern border in Poland. This was reported by the U.S. Army Europe on Twitter page.

In particular, the military unit will be sent to Orzysz in Poland in late March, departing from their base if Vilseck, Germany. The unit will include Infantry Carrier, Mortar Carrier, Medical Evacuation vehicles and howitzers.

Battle group will convoy to its final destination in Poland through Germany and Czech Republic.

It is noteworthy that such decision is an implementation of measures to strengthen Eastern NATO flank, adopted by Pentagon in July 2016. These steps suggest sending NATO military units to Eastern Europe and Baltic countries to deter Russian aggressive policy.

Remarkably, Germany, Canada and Great Britain have placed their military contingents along with USA in these countries. At the same time, NATO is not giving up on negotiation process with Russian Federation.
