The USA can allocate 30 million dollars less to Ukraine for military assistance, Reuters reports.

"The Trump administration does not rule out that 30 of the 250 million dollars will not be given to Ukraine in the form of military assistance on this financial year (ending September 30 - ed.)," Two US officials said. They provided information on the condition of anonymity.

Officials noted that 90% of the previously agreed amount is planned to be allocated to Ukraine in the framework of military assistance.

On September 19, the House of Representatives of the US Congress passed a law on the allocation of 250 million dollars to Ukraine for military assistance.

It was stated that the US Embassy in the United States confirmed the unblocking of US financial aid to Ukraine.

As we reported earlier, in late August, the White House asked Defense Secretary Mark Esper and then-national security adviser John Bolton to review a program of assistance to Ukraine that prompted bipartisan criticism from the US Congress.

According to the US Department of Defense, military assistance to Ukraine from the US since 2014 considered 1.5 billion dollars.
