Hahn congratulated Zelensky on his victory in the presidential election in Ukraine and stressed that the victory gives the new leader the mandate to fight corruption and oligarchs.
'I offered the president-elect full EU support in all reforms, which prove its usefulness for Ukrainian citizens. Ukraine faces a lot of challenges and threats, and all Ukrainian authorities - the president, the government and the Verkhovna Rada - now should act most responsibly. It means that in the transition period before the parliamentary election, reforms should be speeded up to ensure the financial and economic stability', Hahn said.
The Verkhovna Rada, the Parliament of Ukraine registered one more the bill on holding the solemn session devoted to the President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky making an oath and start performing his duties. The website of the Verkhovna Rada reports this.
According to the report, the initiator of the decree was Viktor Baloha, the MP without spinster party.
