Ukraine’s new ambassador to Belgium starts work

Ukraine’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium Mykola Tochytskyi embars on his duties

The diplomat presented his credentials to Chief of Protocol of the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rudolf Huygelen.

During their meeting the sides discussed issues pertaining to the state and prospects of Ukraine-Belgium bilateral cooperation in the political, economic and consular affairs.   

Mr. Tochytskyi will also be Ukraine’s envoy to the European Union.

On February 4 Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree to appoint Mykola Tochytskyi as Ukraine’s envoy to the European Union and the Ambassador to Belgium.
