Ukraine sent the application to the European Commission to get a new macro-financial aid from the EU. Hugues Mingarelli, the Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine claimed this as Interfax-Ukraine reported.
‘Ukraine sent the application to get a new package of the macro-financial aid. The European Commission will estimate the need of the country in the foreign financing and it will be decided on the viability of the allocation of new macro-financial aid in the result of it’, Mingarelli said.
According to him, this issue will be considered in the next few months.
‘If the positive decision is made, the European Commission will submit the proper offer to the European Parliament and the Council of Europe’, the diplomat said.
As we reported, the European Commission will not allocate the third tranche of the macro-financial support in the sum of 600 million euros to Ukraine. Later it was added that the European Commission is ready to provide Ukraine with the further macro-financial support under the activation of the reforms.
