Today Ukraine starts its presidency in the the UN Security Council, according to the UN official website

Note that the presidency to last until the end of February. The program of the the UN Security Council to be approved in the period ahead.

Volodymyr Yelchenko Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations to take the office of the Chairman of the UN Security Council.

It is known that Ukraine is one out of ten non-permanent members of the United Nations Security Council.
